Project name: South Sudan Peace Fund (SSPF)
Areas of Operation: 10 states of Southern Sudan

The South Sudan Peace Fund (SSPF) is a project funded by the Department of Foreign and MFA-Norway focusing on peacebuilding and promoting the successful implementation of peace in Southern Sudan, in close cooperation with the Southern Sudan Peace Commission (SSPC). The SSPF aims at building unity in cooperation with partners through South-South Dialogue and people to people Peace Processes, in pursuit of national healing and reconciliation among the communities, as well as improving the local, regional and national capacities to mitigate conflict and foster peace and security in Southern Sudan.

SSPF strives to increase understanding and awareness of the root causes and triggers of conflicts in Sudan through implementation of conflict assessments, increase the capacity of SSPC to respond to early warning of conflicts in a timely and effective manner through supporting the development of conflict Early Warning System (CEW).
