Funding opportunities

Occasionally Pact Sudan releases funding opportunities and solicitations for tasks or procurements. Please check this page periodically for updated information. The different types of solicitations are detailed below, along with any current opportunities.

RFA: Requests for Applications are generally associated with assistance.  Specific projects may release a RFA requesting for community based organizations or NGOs to submit applications. The selected applicant will be awarded a sub-grant.

RFP: Requests for Proposals are generally associated with procurements and the selected bidder is issued a purchase order (sub-contract). Pact Sudan releases RFPs for work such as borehole drilling, water yard / SWDs and latrine construction and rehabilitations and repairs of existing boreholes and hand pumps. Pact may also release RFPs for consultancy opportunities and procurement of equipment such as vehicles, large printing jobs and special designs or research.

RFTOP: Requests for Task Order Proposals are associated with procurements and are ONLY open to those contractors already issued a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) through Pact Sudan.

Unsolicited Requests: Pact Sudan also accepts unsolicited requests or concept notes, in particular through its Peace Program.
