Project: Access to Justice In a bid to increase rural access to justice, Pact is implementing a one year program targeting six counties in three states; Eastern Equatoria (Budi and Ikwotos), Jonglei (Akobo and Pibor) and Upper Nile (Nasir and Renk). This program's goal is to increase citizens' access to justice in the six above mentioned counties by 2012. It has the following objectives: Objective 1: To gain a deeper understanding of rural access to justice issues, strategies and preferences, including transitional justice. Objective 2: To increase provision of justice services by central, state, local government, and traditional authorities. Objective 3: To increase access to justice services for citizens and communities.
